HOW TO DO FRONT AND BACK NECK STRETCH

Keep your head in a neutral position, looking straight ahead.
Gently tilt your head straight back as far as you comfortably can.
Interlock your fingers and place your hands on your forehead.
Slowly try to bring your head forward, as if you're attempting to touch your chest with your chin, while resisting this movement with your hands and arms.
Hold this position for 10-15 seconds.
Return to the starting position.
Now, bend your head forward to reverse the movement, bringing your hands together behind your head to support it.
Repeat this entire sequence 3 to 4 times.
BENEFITS OF THE FRONT AND BACK NECK STRETCH:
The front and back neck stretch is a valuable part of physical therapy for neck muscle, joint, and bone rehabilitation. It is designed to improve the strength, tone, and flexibility of your neck muscles. It also contributes to greater flexibility in the ligaments surrounding the neck joints, making them better able to withstand stress.
Poor posture often causes the head and shoulders to lean forward, leading to certain chest and neck muscles becoming tight and shortened over time. This can result in neck pain and the perpetuation of poor posture. Engaging in neck stretching exercises like the front and back neck stretch can help relax these postural muscles, potentially reducing neck discomfort and promoting better posture.
